Box Office: Baby beats Bro on First Monday

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s BRO crashed at the box office. The film failed miserably on the first Monday, leaving everyone in utter disappointment. Surprisingly, “Baby” fetched better collections than the highly anticipated film “Bro,” on its first Monday.

“Baby” collected close to Rs 4 crore worldwide on its 1st Monday, while “Bro” saw a massive drop in collections, with a share expected to be around Rs 3.25 crore, significantly less than “Baby.”

Despite “Bro” collecting a decent share of 55.8 crores worldwide during its first weekend, it is now facing a downward spiral and seems to be heading toward failure.

With theatrical rights valued at 100 crores, the film has recovered just more than half of the investment. Given the disappointing 1st Monday figures, trade circles expect very little from “Bro” regarding box office performance.

Sai Dharam Tej, Ketika Sharma and Priya Prakash Varrier are also a part of Bro. Trivkram penned the screenplay and dialogues for BRO. Thaman scored the music of the film. Peoples Media Factory bankrolled the project.
