Ustaad Bhagat Singh, a remake of the Tamil hit Theri, is rumored to be a film filled with sharp, sarcastic lines, indirect comments, and pointed criticisms aimed at the ruling party in Andhra Pradesh. The film is directed by Harish Shankar, who has earned a reputation for his skill in crafting impactful oneliners.

Given the current sensitive political climate in the state, where emotions run high and political affiliations are deeply entrenched, the content of Ustaad Bhagat Singh has the potential to create further unrest. Moreover, Pawan Kalyan plays a cop in the film, and it is easy for him (his character) to take potshots directly at the government.
