They Think This Is Kollywood’s Baahubali And KGF

Coming October, we have acclaimed director Lokesh Kanagaraj’s next movie “Leo” coming up which has none other than Superstar Vijay as the main lead. And now, the talk started to spread that the film will be hitting cinemas in two parts and here’s why Kollywood media is quite excited about it. And some Tamil media folks are quite kicked up about this, here’s why. 

Right now, some popular media folks who are spreading positive talk around Leo are opining that the two-part release of this film is likely to be a grand success. They say that the two-part release will make them win their first-ever big success like what KGF did to the Kannada industry and Baahubali to the Telugu industry. While director Lokesh Kanagaraj is completely reliable with the kind of content he carves, there is no official confirmation regarding the two-part release of the movie. 

However, Kollywood has already given a shot at Baahubali’s two-part plan through Maniratnam’s historical film Ponniyin Selvan, which is released in two parts. While the movie has done well in Tamilnadu, it failed to weave magic in other parts of the country as the universal appeal is missing owing to the content that is more of Tamil flavour as the subject belongs to mainland Tamil Nadu.
