Inside Talk: Megastar Locks Bimbisara Director

Despite scoring a blockbuster hit film on his debut a year ago, “Bimbisara” fame director Vassisht alias Mallidi Venu hasn’t announced his next project. Though the fantasy film featuring Kalyan Ram that worked big time at the box office has worked out pretty well, this director is yet to get his due. While the likes of Rajnikanth and Balakrishna held meetings with him, nothing feasible came out. 

Finally, it is now coming out that Vassisht’s next will be featuring none other than Megastar Chiranjeevi only. Earlier we reported that the Bimbisara director came up with a Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari kind of movie, which actually looks like a sequel to the original of Chiranjeevi, but then they thought of making this film with Ram Charan. However, owing to Charan’s other commitments now Megastar is said to have decided to do the film himself. 

After wrapping a quick movie under the direction of Kalyan Krishna Kurasala which will be produced by his daughter Sushmitha, Megastar Chiru will be starting to shoot for Mallidi Venu’s movie. The film is most likely to be launched in November 2023 and will be going for a regular shoot from December itself. Right now, pre-production work is going on.
