OTT Release Puts ‘Adipurush’ Under Spotlight Again

Without making much noise, Superstar Prabhas’ recent release “Adipurush” has released on Amazon Prime Video other day. Guess what, any other film would have not got attention but that’s not the case with this Baahubali-star’s movie as the film started to trend all over again. And troll armies are also at the job once again.

Despite the fact that Adipurush is trolled for its poor visual effects and bad re-telling of Ramayana in many ways, the film clocked nearly ₹400 crores collection from the worldwide box office. The makers have made a solid profit, but it’s the fans who got really hurt. And those who haven’t watched the film in theatres have made it a priority to watch it on the OTT platform now. Upon watching, they are taking to social media to express that it is a mediocre drama created by Om Raut with poorest visual effects.

Usually, a flop film never gets such attention during an OTT release even if the makers promote it. Now, neither T-Series nor Amazon Prime is promoting Adipurush, but then, the film is trending all over. Hope Prabhas comes up with “Salaar” soon and wipes out the pain of movie lovers who expected big things from him.
