“Virupaksha,” starring Sai Dharam Tej, has emerged as one of the year’s biggest hits, marking a significant comeback for Sai Dharam Tej. The film’s success has resulted in the makers announcing a new project, marking the reunion of the entire team but Sai Dharam Tej.
The sources suggest that the producers are looking for another young actor for the lead role. It is opening up room for a lot of fresh speculation that things are not well between Sai Tej and the makers of Virupaksha.
After “Virupaksha” was released, disagreements were reported between Sai Dharam Tej and the film’s producers. It’s believed that Sai Dharam Tej expressed dissatisfaction with the profit-sharing arrangement, feeling he didn’t receive a fair share. Hence, it is reported that Sai Dharam Tej showed zero interest in being a part of the film.
Conversely, a different story is being heard from the sources close to the film unit. The makers claim that the new movie is not a sequel or continuation of Virupaksha; because of this, the team wanted to cast a different hero. They also say that this is not a franchise but just a collaboration of the same team, because of which they are going for a different hero.
Directed by Karthik Dandu, this upcoming film is described as a mythical thriller and will be jointly produced by BVSN Prasad and Sukumar.
