The biggest feat ever achieved by universal actor Kamal Haasan back in the 90s through the usage of specialist makeup is that he efficiently played the role of an aged old man in “Bharateeyudu” movie. Now that legendary director Shankar is carving “Indian 2” with him, surely everyone is expecting that look again. 

Here comes S Shankar, sharing a picture of Kamal Haasan from Indian 2 as he took to social media to wish everyone a happy Independence Day. Dressed in full khaki like the legendary Subhash Chandra Bose, no doubt, the Bharateeyudu Taatayya getup is an instant hit with the netizens, who happen to be the new-age audience who hasn’t seen Kamal in such an avatar. Kamal’s swag, white hair, skin folds and those fierce looks are just explaining to us what will be in store when Indian 2 hits cinemas. When it comes to patriotic films, there is none like Kamal and Shankar, and their combo is just raising the expectations bar to Everest level. 

Coming to Indian 2, the film features the likes of Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth, Rakul Preet and others, and has been in the making for a couple of years now. There are reports that it might hit cinemas in January or March 2023, but nothing solid has come out on the release date so far.
