Megastar Tastes ‘zero’ Share!

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s recent release, “Bholaa Shankar,” has turned out to be a major disappointment for both fans and audiences alike. The film failed to meet those expectations and has been deemed one of the biggest disasters in Tollywood history, disappointing not only audiences but also loyal fans of Chiranjeevi.

Despite being granted a considerable number of theaters during its opening weekend, “Bholaa Shankar” struggled to garner significant collections. Even the much-anticipated Independence Day holiday on Tuesday failed to provide the desired boost to the film’s box office performance.

Unfortunately, the situation worsened on Wednesday, as the film failed to generate any revenue from theaters, indicating that even the maintenance costs weren’t covered. It’s sad to see Chiru’s film failing to register no share (zero share)on day 6 at the ticket windows.

In contrast to the success of “Waltair Veeraiah,” “Bholaa Shankar” faced difficulties in maintaining its theater screenings and failed to achieve a substantial share. As the film almost concluded its theatrical run, it managed to amass a worldwide share of only Rs 26 crore. Given the film’s budget and expectations, this falls significantly short of its predicted success.

With the film’s disappointing performance, industry observers have suggested that “Bhola Shankar” needs to recover at least Rs 80 crore to break even, let alone make a substantial profit.

Directed by Meher Ramesh, the movie also featured Keerthy Suresh, Tamannaah Bhatia and others.
