Music director Thaman and director Trivikram Srinivas have shared a successful working relationship for several years. But recent reports suggest that this popular combination may not continue for Trivikram’s upcoming film with Jr NTR.
In Tollywood, many directors prefer working with the same music directors for several films. SS Rajamouli has continued his association with MM Keeravani since his first movie. Similarly, Sukumar has worked with Devi Sri Prasad for several projects. But there is now some uncertainty about whether Devi Sri Prasad will compose music for Ram Charan’s next film with Sukumar.
Meanwhile, Trivikram and Thaman also share a similar bond. Although they did not work together from the beginning, their association became strong with Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava. Since then, Thaman has composed music for several films directed by Trivikram. He also worked on projects presented by the director, including Bro and Bheemla Nayak.
Because of this long association, many expected Thaman to continue as Trivikram’s regular music director.
However, Anirudh Ravichander has already been officially announced as the music director for Trivikram’s upcoming film with Jr NTR. There were earlier reports suggesting that if Anirudh and Trivikram failed to find the right sync in terms of content or timelines, the director might consider bringing Thaman back into the project.
But the latest industry buzz suggests that such a possibility is almost ruled out. Following the response to Adarsha Kutumbam, reports indicate that Trivikram is unlikely to choose Thaman for the NTR project under any circumstances. The film’s music and background score reportedly failed to meet audience expectations, adding to the speculation surrounding their professional relationship.
With Anirudh already on board, the focus has now shifted to the musical outcome of this much-awaited NTR and Trivikram combination. It remains to be seen whether the duo can deliver a memorable album for this ambitious project.
There were even reports that Trivikram might no longer prefer working with Thaman in his upcoming films. However, the film industry is unpredictable, and nothing can be ruled out permanently. Time changes things, and only the future will tell whether this successful combination reunites again.
