RRR: Shriya Was Called For Look Test But Offered A Role

Shriya Saran is one of the popular names in the movie industry. The actress is currently residing in Barcelona with her husband and she is waiting to return Hyderabad to resume her work in Telugu cinema. Interestingly, Shriya is playing a key role in the film RRR.

After 15 years, Shriya is acting under the direction of Rajamouli again. Their previous outing was Chatrapathi. There is an interesting story behind her selection in the film RRR.

Shriya was in India for her cousin’s wedding last year. During her stay, she was called by the makers of RRR, for a look test. Shriya met the team to give the look test but much to her surprise, she was offered the role. Shriya revealed the same in a recent interview.

Shriya was not hoping to be a part of the film but she took part in the shoot for a few scenes. Shriya might join the shoot of the movie again in 2021. Shriya compliments that Rajamouli’s passion for cinema did not change in these 15 years.

Jr NTR, and Ram Charan plays the lead roles in RRR. The makers are planning to resume the film’s shoot soon.
