Excluding the OTT release “Ek Mini Katha,” Santosh is yet to experience a significant hit in his career in recent times. His recent film, “Anni Manchi Sakunale,” directed by Nandini Reddy, also faced commercial difficulties.

His latest release, “Prem Kumar,” arrived over the weekend, but the public response has been lukewarm. Some viewers found the film’s lack of seriousness and excessive silliness detrimental to the overall experience. The netizens began advising Santosh Sobhan to exercise caution in choosing scripts and recommending a balanced approach to his roles.

“Prem Kumar” features Rashi Singh as the heroine, with Krishna Chaitanya, Ruchitha Sadineni, Krishna Teja, Sudarshan, Ashok Kumar, Sri Vidya, and others in significant roles. Shiva Prasad Panneeru produced the film, while Abhishek Maharshi directed and co-wrote it.
