More Pressure On Babu!

Buchi Babu Sana made his directorial debut with the film Uppena. The film has been awarded the Best Feature Film Telugu at the 69th National Film Awards. This achievement has added more responsibility to the shoulders of the director in wielding the megaphone for his next film, starring Ram Charan in the lead role.

With the announcement of the National Award for Uppena, the expectations will naturally grow for Buchi Babu’s next, resulting in all eyes landing on Ram Charan’s project, which is poised to be a sports-based entertainer, drawing inspiration from real-life incidents.

Speculations have circulated suggesting that the narrative might be loosely based on the life of the legendary Indian strongman, Kodi Ramamurthy Naidu, who earned acclaim and recognition, including the honor of King George V, for his extraordinary feats.

To amplify the film’s reach and appeal, Buchi Babu Sana is contemplating the inclusion of prominent Bollywood stars. The ambitious plan includes the consideration of Deepika Padukone and Sree Leela as female leads, aiming to bring their star power to the project. Additionally, Vijay Sethupathi’s involvement in a pivotal role has already been confirmed.

We have to see if Buchi does not get carried away by the pressure that comes with the responsibility.
