In November last year, the actress revealed her health condition on social media, and since then, she has been quite open about it, spreading awareness. Now, she has taken a step forward and become the face of Myositis India, an organization that raises awareness about myositis.
The official page of Myositis India shared the news on social media, announcing that Samantha has been appointed as the organization’s brand ambassador.
Samantha had taken a break from work for almost six months to focus on her health. She will soon undergo treatment for her autoimmune condition, myositis, in the US. She plans to stay in the US for about two months, accompanied by her mother for the treatment.
However, neither Samantha nor her team has confirmed this news officially.
On the professional front, Samantha’s next release is Kushi, starring Vijay Deverakonda. Shiva Nirvana is the film’s director and the movie will hit the screens on 1st September.
