It’s noticeable right now that Powerstar Pawan Kalyan and his nephew Sai Dharam Tej’s latest movie “BRO” is streaming on Netflix right now, and trending at the No.1 position last week (From Aug 21st to Aug 27th). But the biggest surprise is that, even in countries like Pakistan and Bangladesh, the film was trending at the No.8 position. And many are wondering why would a Pawan Kalyan film trend like that.
First of all the movie BRO belongs to the theme of Hindu Gods and sentiments and that might not do really well in the conservative hinterlands of Pakistan. So naturally there comes a doubt as to why the film is trending in countries like this. However, OTT analysts feel that the film’s Hindi version is trending in these two countries because there will be a natural tendency among the people of those countries as to why this movie is trending in India. And that led to huge viewership in those countries as the Hindi version is also available on Netflix.
Apart from that, no other explanation suits as to why a Pawan Kalyan starrer would trend in Pakistan and Bangladesh. On the other hand, Telugu fans are feeling super happy that Telugu movies dubbed in Hindi are now being watched in other South Asian countries as well where Hindi-speaking audiences are present. Which otherwise could also be seen as a fact that the Telugu film market is also expanding into these small countries too.
