Ram Pothineni and Boyapati Sreenu’s Skanda trailer was released a few days back. The mass makeover of Ram from Ismart Shankar and the Boyapati mark mass elements filled in the trailer are expected to be the selling points for Skanda. But it looks like the trailer of Skanda put the expectations down all over.
The Skanda trailer has the usual stuff that Boyapati’s movies had so far. The gate-toll gate type of challenges, the temple backdrop violent fights, and of course the rugged power clash in the dirt, probably in the climax, none of these actually enticed the fans of Ram and the general audience.
Many opine that the makers should cut a new trailer for Skanda with sensible and interesting shots from the film instead of routine stunt episodes in the name of mass and commercial elements. At least the new trailer in a decent cut could control the damage caused by the first trailer.
It has to be seen if the makers are in any plans to bring it on sooner than later, as the movie is all set for release on September 15th.
