Rajinikanth Gets Double Remuneration For Jailer!

Superstar Rajinikanth’s latest movie Jailer has struck at the Indian box-office. Directed by Nelson Dileep Kumar, this dark comedy and action-packed drama has taken the box office by storm, marking Rajinikanth’s biggest blockbuster in recent years. Now, everyone’s discussing about the ‘double remuneration’ that Rajinikanth received for the movie.

Remarkably, ‘Jailer’ recouped its production costs within a mere four days of its release, instantly entering the realm of profit. If the reports are believed to be true, Jailer amassed over Rs. 620 Cr gross and a share of over Rs. 280 Cr during the three weeks’ run in the theatres.

The financial success of the movie is poised to yield profits exceeding Rs. 150 crores for the film’s producers. Hence, the movie’s producer Kalanidhi Maran reportedly decided to give an additional remuneration. There are many rumours on the exact amount, but nothing is disclosed.

There are reports that, Rajinikanth initially received a remuneration of Rs. 100 crore for his role in “Jailer.” In a surprising move, Rajinikanth was presented with an additional cheque now.

Apart from that, the producer also gifted a brand new car to Rajinikanth in a heartwarming gesture.

Jailer also features Mohanlal, Shivaraj Kumar, Ramya Krishnan, Vasanth Ravi and others.
