Why Ask A Hero Regarding Losses?

Vijay Deverakonda’s 1 crore to 100 families announcement turned into a controversy when a noted producer Abhishek Pictures tweeted ‘requesting and hoping’ he would save the exhibitors and distributors’ families as they lost 8 crores due to World Famous Lover.

In fact, World Famous Lover went on to become a disaster and the distributors lost big money, many wonder why the distributors are leaving public comments on the hero. Because if at all the distributors want to ask for compensation for their losses due to a movie, they should be asking the producer and definitely not the hero.

Abhishek Pictures tweeted that no one responded over the losses for World Famous Lover. The issue was reportedly not settled by the movie producer Creative Commercials KS Rama Rao and the latter being the producing partner in Bholaa Shankar, there was a scuffle during that release too.

However, the issue is between the distributors and the producers. The distributor venting their anguish on the hero on a public platform is being called unfair, that too when he announced something good in a gesture to help some needy families. Some on social media are even asking if the distributor is ready to ask a ‘big hero’ in the same scenario.

The sudden tweets of Abhishek Pictures left many clueless on what is happening. The backstory of it is that Abhishek Nama losing 8 crores with World Famous Lover is a fact. All he asks is for Vijay Deverakonda’s dates so they can make a good movie to recover those losses. Vijay Deverakonda reportedly refused the proposal as he was not doing any movie for Telugu producers during the Liger times.

About asking the hero for compensation, Abhishek Nama agrees that the producer should be asked for that, but a distributor buys the rights of a movie after seeing and beleiving in the hero. He also emphasized that he is not asking for compensation, but the dates of the hero as per the market.

Vijay Deverakonda’s Liger issue is still unsettled and now World Famous Lover joins the queue. It has to be seen what Vijay’s response would be.
