The trailer tells the story of Bhumi, who navigates the complexities of her sex life while engaging in lively discussions that touch on various topics, including relationships, freezing eggs, and orgasms. Kusha, portrayed as her arch-nemesis, doesn’t miss any opportunity to mock her. Anil Kapoor’s presence in the trailer hints at a wholesome entertainer.
Directed by Karan Boolani, Rhea Kapoor’s husband, “Thank You For Coming” is set to premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) 2023. The film is produced by Anil Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor. Apart from Bhumi, the film also features Shehnaaz Gill, Kusha Kapila, Dolly Singh, and Shibani Bedi in pivotal roles.
Already, a lot of netizens on social media commented that the film is too bold, and the Bollywood is again falling into a zone where they are making films of their choice but not what the audience is expecting.
