Heroine Surprises All With Another Big Movie

Trisha started her career nearly 25 years back with an uncredited cameo in the movie ‘Jodi’. Many thought that her career was over when she had a streak of flops and when her small films were released on OTT. Others called it a second inning when she gave a tight fight with the top league heroines with big-ticket films in hand. It looks like it is just her long innings she is continuing and here is another surprise from her.

Trisha is reportedly in talks for a film in Mani Ratnam’s direction and Kamal Haaan would be playing the lead role. Trisha shocked all by bagging the role in Vijay’s Leo and now with Kamal Haasan-Mani Ratnam’s movie that is almost confirmed, many started wondering how she is able to bag star hero films after all these years.

With Vijay’s Leo in hand, Trisha is also acting in Ajith-starrer Vidamuyarchi, and right now she is shooting in Dubai. She recently acted in a crucial role in Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan. She also had her Raangi released in 2022.

Trisha has the films ‘The Road’, Ram Part 1, Identity, and Sathuranga Vettai 2 moving towards completion. While many are amazed to see Trisha still ruling the roost, the actress jokingly replied that she is ‘ready’ for a sequel of Venkatesh’s Aadavari Maatalaku Ardhalu Verule when the director tweeted he should make one.
