Jr NTR’s love for the Kannada language and his connection to Karnataka through his mother, who hails from Kundapura, has endeared him to Kannada film audiences. He is known for speaking fluent Kannada and has even been dubbed for his portions in his films, including the recent blockbuster “RRR.” Now, an interesting banter between NTR and Kannada actor Rishab Shetty is going viral on social media.
This exchange took place during the SIIMA Awards event that took place in Dubai on Saturday.
Rishab Shetty of Kantara fame is known to be a fan of Jr NTR, which he revealed in many instances. When Rishab won an award for his film “Kantara” at the event, Jr NTR congratulated him and this resulted in a lighthearted Kannada banter.
Rishab took the opportunity to thank NTR for being the first to appreciate him during the time of the Kirik Party and later when Kantara was released. He also mentioned that he won’t consider NTR as someone from Andhra but one among them as his mother hails from Kundapura.
