A Dull Festival At Tollywood Box Office

Last week, on September 15, a dubbed Tamil movie and two Telugu films were released at the box office but unfortunately, all of them have failed at the box office.

The dubbed Tamil movie “Mark Antony” featured Vishal and SJ Suryah in the lead roles. Ritu Varma played the female lead, and Adhik Ravichandran directed the film. Selva Raghavan also had an important role in it.

However, the film failed to perform well at the Telugu box office. The time travel concept in the movie didn’t resonate with the audience. The film was criticized for its overaction in many scenes, excessive shouting, and a confusing second half, leading to poor collections and a flop status in Telugu.

“Changure Bangaru Raja,” produced by actor Ravi Teja, didn’t gain much attention due to a lack of proper promotions, and difficulties in narrating the story effectively. The film featured lesser-known actors, contributing to its low visibility.

The third movie, “Ramanna Youth,” was set in the backdrop of Telangana and faced a similar fate. It was criticized for its boring narration and the inclusion of many newcomers without a compelling storyline.

Originally, Ram Pothineni and Boyapati Sreenu’s “Skanda” was scheduled for release last week but has been postponed to the 28th of this month. Additionally, “Peddakapu,” directed by Srikanth Addala, is set to release on the 29th of this month, and there is anticipation surrounding these two releases.
