In fact, the release trailer of “Skandha” is more massy and appropriate as it gives goosebumps in its own style with a lot of verbatim taking center stage. Especially the way hero Ram Pothineni and others mouthed a few political dialogues has actually become a talking point in the film industry right now. Let’s have a look at it.
The latest trailer has some of its political moments with Sreeleela exclaiming that Ram is nothing but a future son-in-law of a Chief Minister, and that links the whole of this movie to the political system. Before that, showcasing former hero Srikanth in jail, a voiceover says, “Paristuthulu ki talavanchi thappu chesanani oppukovali sir”, which connect us to a lot of political scenarios right now.
And then, when Ram utters the dialogue, “Manishiko Peru, Padaviko Baadhyata vuntadi.. adhi marchipoya meeru teesina paruvu, kolchesina aatma gouravam”, isn’t it directly hitting at some politicians who are selling the state for their own benefits? If just a 2-minute trailer has this, as we know what Boyapati would cook inside a movie, surely Skandha is going to be a political feast for fans who would see politics and films closer.
At the same time, Boyapati Sreenu maintained that his films always reflect contemporary scenarios though they are merely commercial entertainers. Skandha is hitting cinemas on September 28th.
