Boyapati’s Comment On Akhanda BGM Not Going Well

Director Boyapati Sreenu isn’t going to talk big about the way Skandha failed to deliver at the box office, as he feels that the film satisfied its target audience and made lots of money at the box office. But then, at this juncture, the director’s talk about his previous blockbuster is hurting a few fans.

Apparently, when media folks quizzed Boyapati about the way Thaman delivered music for Skandha and he did for Akhanda earlier, as they felt that Skandha was inferior to the composer’s previous work, Boyapati made interesting comments. The dashing director felt that Akhanda is a great film and that it will work at the box office even without the background score. This particular dialogue isn’t going well with Thaman fans and other movie lovers who feel that Akhanda is in fact nothing without the maestro’s background score.

Some are commenting that Boyapati is getting insecure about Thaman, and some feel that he has gotten into a similar negative vibe with Devi Sri Prasad earlier by commenting about the composer at an audio launch, and later they two haven’t worked together for obvious reasons. We have to see if Thaman and Boyapati’s equation is also going the same way now.
