Star hero Akshay Kumar’s latest movie Mission Ranigunj was released last Friday and some of Bollywood’s age-old reviewers even called it an impactful film. They have even said that Akshay Kumar has hit it out of the park.

But what shocked the audience is the opening collection of the movie which is not even a proper ₹4 crores nett. Now, including the Friday, Saturday and Sunday collections, the film made just ₹12+ crores in its opening weekend, indicating that it is heading for a disastrous fate at the box office.

However, Akshay has spoken in a recent interview that he wouldn’t be enthralled to hear about the box office collections of his movies, whether they are big or small. Because the star hero feels that he’s the one who could make a film on the seller of sanitary pads as well as many other close-to-real-life characters. Well, picking up those films is taste, but then, collections are all about bringing the investment back, isn’t this important too?
