Breaking: Income Tax Raids On Tiger Producer

Right in front of the release of a film, usually Income Tax and GST sleuths these days are throwing lots of surprises for Telugu producers by raiding their offices to check the accounts. And now, another Telugu producer is tasting the same thing right before the release of his new film. 

Producer Abhishek Agarwal who has bankrolled Mass Raja Raviteja’s October 20th releasing movie “Tiger Nageswara Rao”, is being raided by IT and GST sleuths on Wednesday morning at his office. At a time when the producer is gearing up to meet media sleuths to promote his forthcoming film, this raid is a surprise of sorts. Some say that the Bollywood release of the film has really raised concerns about the money the producer is pumping in, and hence the raids. 

What is more surprising is that the producer is pretty close to the ruling BJP as his previous films like The Kashmir Films have supported the saffron-party’s agenda to a bit, and this raid on him is like a real surprise. Meanwhile, insiders in the know are revealing that there is nothing to worry about as Abhishek’s accounts are pretty clear.
