As Prabhas Salaar locked the mega date of December 22nd, some release dates got shuffled and a couple of biggies went to Sankranthi 2024. Going by the clashes that are likely to happen at the BO, many are saying that Sankranthi is going to be the ‘climax fight’ for 2023 movie season. But then, there is this pre-climax fight before that big festival fighting.
With November 30th being the election day in Telangana, now the first week of December is getting fully loaded with some big and important films coming from the next-level stars of Telugu cinema. While Nithin’s Extra Ordinary Man joined the Dec 8th war, which already has Vishwak Sen’s Gangs Of Godavari and Varun Tej’s Operation Valentine in the pipeline, the latest buzz is that Nani’s Hi Nanna is trying to come a day early on 7th.
If that happens, this fight resembles a pre-climax for the 2023 calendar year while Salaar will be the massive climax, and Sankranthi will be either the continuation of the climax or the beginning of a new season altogether. On the other hand, Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal is sticking to the December 1st date, as they think that the election holiday on the 30th in a few states is going to help them big on the first day of December.
