Taapsee as producer: hit or phat?

Actress Taapsee Pannu ventured into film production, marking her debut as a producer with the film, “Dhak Dhak.” The actress stepped out of promotions as she was unhappy with her production partner not planning the promotions extensively. Despite all that, the film received positive feedback at the box office.

“Dhak Dhak” revolves around four ordinary women who embark on an extraordinary journey filled with emotions, adventures, and self-discovery during a transformative bike ride of their lives. Most of the audience appreciated the compelling portrayal of authentic female friendships.

Despite potentially lacking extensive marketing, the critics praised the film and called the film an endearing and commendable cinematic experience. The performances of all the actors received a special mention from the viewers. We have to see if the film can hold during the weekend and emerge as a winner at the box office in the coming days.

“Dhak Dhak” boasts a talented ensemble cast, including Ratna Pathak Shah, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Dia Mirza, and Sanjana Sanghi.
