Art director Milan, known for his collaborations on iconic Tamil films, tragically passed away while working on his next project with actor Ajith Kumar in Azerbaijan. Milan passed away due to cardiac arrest. The film, titled “Vidaa Muyarchi,” was directed by Magizh Thirumeni and produced by Lyca Productions, with filming commencing in early October. This news comes as a big shock to everyone.
Milan began his journey in the industry in 1999 as an assistant to art director and production designer Sabu Cyril. During this period, he contributed to several notable films, including “Citizen,” “Red,” and “Villain” featuring Ajith Kumar, “Thamizhan” with Thalapathy Vijay, and Chiyaan Vikram’s “Anniyan.”
In 2006, Milan made his debut as an art director with the film “Kalabha Kadhalan,” starring Arya in the lead role. He went on to work on several successful films such as “Billa,” “Vettaikaaran,” “Thunivu,” “Vivegam,” “Vedalam,” and “Saamy 2.”
Milan was actively involved with the production of “Vidaa Muyarchi” at the time of his unfortunate passing. His sudden demise is a great loss to the film industry, and it will undoubtedly be met with profound sorrow and condolences from the film fraternity.
