Renu Desai declined ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’ to avoid controversy!

Renu Desai has been away from the silver screen for nearly 20 years, with her last film being ‘Johnny’ in 2008. She is now happy to make her comeback to acting with Ravi Teja’s ‘Tiger Nageswara Rao.’ During the film’s promotions, the actress disclosed that she had an opportunity to act in Mahesh Babu’s last film, ‘Sarkaru Vari Pata,’ as a bank officer.

However, she had to decline the role due to undisclosed reasons, stating that she could not reveal those reasons to avoid unnecessary controversy.

“I got an opportunity in the movie ‘Sarkaru Vari Pata.’ I was asked for the role of a bank officer. I liked that role very much. I wanted to act. For some reason, it didn’t work out. I cannot say those reasons because controversy will be created unnecessarily. The truth is to be told. But it feels better to be calm.”

‘Tiger Nageswara Rao’ features Nupur Sanon, Gayatri Bharadwaj, Murali Sharma, and others in key roles. Renu portrays the character of Hemalatha Lavanam, Gurram Joshua’s daughter.
