Three big films are clashing on Dasara eve, and two of them, including Balayya’s Bhagwant Kesari and Vijay’s LEO already been released. The one pending is today’s film, Raviteja’s Tiger Nageswara Rao. And here is a big opportunity for Raviteja to cash on, so let’s see that side of the talk now.
Apparently, Bhagwant Kesari got mixed talk on Day 1, though the masses and fans liked it a lot. While the emotional second half is convincing for the families, surely it hasn’t got that blockbuster talk that would make the film unstoppable at the box office. On the other hand, even Vijay’s Leo got a similar talk as the film didn’t meet the expectations that Lokesh Kanagaraj created for himself.
But then, even Leo cannot be written off completely if the box office numbers in Telugu states are anything to go by. Now that these two films are doing average, if Tiger Nageswara Rao turns out to be a blockbuster, then it will be Raviteja’s mega showdown for the Dasara festival.
It is a great opportunity indeed for Raviteja as trade pundits have earlier expected that one among Bhagwant and Leo would become a solid blockbuster, but the result didn’t turn out like that. However TNR’s lengthy runtime of 3 hours is turning out to be a bigger challenge here, and the director Vamsee should have done a mighty job to turn the tides in Mass Raja’s favour. In a few hours, we will know about it.
