No Matter What, This Sequel Is Coming To Theatres

One of the most hyped Kannada films in recent times is Rakshit Shetty’s Sapta Saagaradache Ello Side-A, (Part 1), which was a blockbuster at the Sandalwood box office. The film’s Telugu version, Sapta Sagaralu Daati was brought to Telugu by popular production house Peoples Media Factory but hasn’t performed as expected.

For some reason, the slow narrative of the movie despite Rakshit Shetty’s stunning performance and newbie heroine Rukmini Vasanth’s dazzling screen presence, hasn’t worked out at the Telugu box office. At times, the film was a drag with the jail episodes turning out to be a borefest. That brought doubt in the minds of the movie lovers if Part 2 of the film will be released as promised or not. However, the producers are going ahead with the release as ‘Sapta Sagaralu Daati Side B’ is hitting cinemas on November 17th without fail.

Inside sources revealed that the second part might click well because this one has more action and rage, unlike the first part where there is a lot of melancholy and love. But then, we have to appreciate the filmmakers for bringing the second part irrespective of the first part’s success at the box office. Otherwise, we are seeing how the announced sequels or second parts never release if the first part fails to enthrall.
