Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Khaidi 2: Dilli Says Script Not Ready

The film that opened the Lokesh Cinematic Universe to the world is none other than Karthi’s “Khaidi” which is a riveting film known for its racy screenplay. While Vikram and Leo are the other magical from this universe, everyone is actually waiting for the sequels like Khaidi 2, and Vikram 2 apart from a special film on Rolex. Here is an interesting update about Karthi’s Khaidi 2.

Playing the role of a just-released convict Dilli in Khaidi, Karthi created a sensation back in 2019 and since then there is a talk now and then about the sequel. During the promotion of his latest film ‘Japan’, when quizzed about the possible rolling date of Khaidi 2, Karthi made interesting remarks.

‘Khaidi 2 was supposed to start by January 2024 only, but Lokesh has now started Rajnikanth sir’s movie, so our project will get late. At the same time, he hasn’t finished the script yet, while he has some ideas in mind, which he keeps pitching to me’ said Karthi.

It looks like after wrapping Rajnikanth’s movie, Lokesh Kanagaraja has to wrap his work on the script first and then will come up with Khaidi 2. But the director also stated in the recent times that he would like to do Rolex, Vikram 2 and Leo 2 as well, but not which one first.
