After establishing himself as a force in Malayalam cinema, Dulquer Salmaan is strategically diversifying his career by taking on special roles in films from different languages. Stepping aside from the shadow of his father Mammootty, Dulquer paved a way for himself in the film industry. Irrespective of the language, Dulquer is now finding success in various projects.
Rather than waiting for conventional hero-centric roles, Dulquer is actively seeking unique characters to expand his fan base. This strategic approach is evident in his involvement in ‘Project K’ and an upcoming project with Suriya and Sudha Kongara.
Dulquer’s entry into Telugu cinema with ‘Mahanati’ proved to be a big hit. Later, he did ‘Sitaramam,’ which became a big hit. The actor will next be seen in ‘Lucky Bhaskar,’ directed by Venky Atluri of ‘Sir’ fame.
Despite the recent setback of his pan-India film ‘King of Kotha’ at the box office, Dulquer Salmaan continues to make waves across India, showcasing a strategic and diverse approach to his roles.
He will next be seen in ‘Thug Life’ alongside Kamal Haasan under Mani Ratnam’s direction is particularly noteworthy, given their successful collaboration in ‘O Kadhal Kanmani.’
