On the first death anniversary of the legendary actor Superstar Krishna, several celebrities, including his son Mahesh Babu, paid homage and reminisced about his contributions to Telugu cinema. The pictures from the homage ceremony have gone viral on social media now.
Ghattamaneni Krishna, aka our beloved Superstar, played a pioneering role in introducing sophisticated technologies like 70 MM, Cinemascope, Eastman Colour, and DTS to Tollywood. Besides his iconic film career, he was also involved in politics, directing, and producing movies.
Krishna is the first Telugu actor to star in cowboy and spy movies, breaking new ground in the industry.
