When it comes to talk shows in India, it is Karan Johar’s Koffee With Karan that actually took the game to the next level. And then, unlike any other web media house or news agency, K Jo used to explore the ‘gossipy’ side and personal relationships of actors-actresses on his couch, thus stunning everyone. But anything done excessively is going to be a bore-fest for the audience, that’s what happening with the Season 08 of this show.
The latest Episode of Koffee With Karan features Kareen Kapoor Khan and Alia Bhatt as the guests of the show. While it is expected that these married women might not bring the spice that Karan usually explores as they are mothers as well now, the topic stuck to kids and parenting most of the time. More than parenting stuff, they talk about their kids, their beauty, lifestyle and paparazzi etc. All this stuff is surely boring the Gen Z audience of the show, because most of the revelations made by Alia and Kareena are not new, but read in the newspapers and other interviews many times.
Even last week’s episode, which has Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday talking about dating men, their preferences, current partners and other things wasn’t so exciting, because they have said all those things in many other interviews too. Many are wondering why Karan Johar is not able to get new ‘questions’ or at least create interesting segments to make the show more interesting. So far, no episode of KOK 08 clicked.
