The impact of the disaster of ‘Agent’ is very huge on Akhil. The movie was released amidst big expectations but unfortunately, the movie failed to work at the box office. Despite the disappointment of not seeing the success in theatres, the makers expected that the movie would make a mark on OTT and it also didn’t help at all. Now, there’s a delay in the commencement Akhil’s next which has become a curious case in the tinsel town.
Akhil’s next project, tentatively titled “Akhil 6” and produced by UV Creations, is scheduled to commence filming in February or March of the upcoming year. The team is taking ample time for precautions, working diligently on the script, and finalizing the details.
Nagarjuna, amidst his engagements with Bigg Boss 7, plans to hear the narration in January before the script is locked.
Pre-production work is already in progress for this pan-India film, which will be Akhil’s most expensive project to date.
Anil Kumar, an associate at UV Creations, is set to make his directorial debut with this film. Meanwhile, the reports say that SS Rajamouli will present and supervise Akhil’s project.
It might look like the team is consuming a lot of time in taking the project on the floors but the sources say that the delay will be worth it. The team is taking extra care only to ensure Akhil scores a big blockbuster this time. Rest assured, a formal confirmation on the film is expected to be out soon.
