Finally, Pooja Hegde Grabs A Telugu Film

After her surprising exit from movies like Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram and Pawan Kalyan’s Ustaad Bhagat Singh, dusky siren Pooja Hegde hasn’t signed any Telugu movie. Though the makers of Nani’s Saripodha Sanivaram thought of casting her as the main lead, ultimately they have settled down with Priyanka Arul Mohan of Gang Leader fame. And now, Pooja signed her next Telugu flick at last.

Gulte.com has exclusively found out that with Samantha Ruth Prabhu not able to give dates as she is in a resting period right now, director Nandini Reddy has decided to sign Pooja Hegde for the leading role in her next that will feature DJ Tillu fame Siddhu Jonnalagadda as the leading man. Buzz has that the actress demanded what she was paid/offered for her big ticket films earlier as her paycheck, and the makers agreed to do that. Definitely this is news that makes Pooja Hegde’s fans happy. 

Meanwhile, the actress has signed no other Telugu movie in recent times while she has films lined up in Bollywood including one with Shahid Kapoor. Though her latest Bollywood films with the likes of Salman Khan didn’t do well at the box office, the actress is in good demand over there.
