A talented actor who needs no introduction when it comes to moulding himself into any role is none other than Srikanth Meka. Recently he shifted his attention to character roles and appeared in many films like Sarrainodu and Akhanda, but only a few of them actually clicked. Many thought that he was not being given something that lived up to his potential. But then, Kota Bommali PS changed that vibe.
Apparently in this remake film that is right now doing wonders at the box office, Srikanth appeared in the role of head constable Rama Krishna and proved his mettle again. He pulled off the role effortlessly and literally carried the whole film on his shoulders as she showcased various emotions with ease. Whether it is in emotional scenes or simple rage sequences, he makes eyes glued to the screen. After a long time, Srikanth picked up the right path and if he continues to deliver such author-backed roles, as a lead or as a character artist, surely it is going to be a game changer for him.
On the other hand, Kota Bommali PS did well on Sunday too by registering good collections in almost all the centres. With the film’s theatrical rights valued at nearly ₹2-3 crores, the breakeven is quite easy for the producers.
