Vishwak Sen Takes His Word Back, Announces GOG New Date

Rather than being diplomatic in the field he is in, Vishwak Sen never hesitates to speak his mind. Many a time, Vishwak expressed his angst on alleged negative campaigns against his films and most recently, he vented his anger on the probable release delay of his film Gangs Of Godavari.

Vishwak even pledged to not promote his movie if it is not released in December. Later he was not seen anywhere promoting the film. Producer Naga Vamsi gave a mixed response hinting at the movie’s possible delay saying it was not completed yet. Today, the actor himself posted an update on the Gangs Of Godavari’s new release date. He announced that the movie is coming on March 8th, 2024.

It is evident that Gangs Of Godavari has been pushed from the December release due to a heavy rush at the box office from the movies that decided to stay away from Salaar. Nani’s Hi Nanna, Nithiin Extraordinary Man, and Ranbir’s Animal are coming in December’s first week and the Gangs Of Godavari team appears to have chosen a safe bet.

Gangs Of Godavari claims to be a rustic action drama and in the words of Vishwak, it is ‘A tale of absolute grit and determination and the rise of a man from rags to riches! ‘
