Kriti Shetty Bags LIC – Will This Change Her Fate?

Just one film is enough for some beauties to get immense attention and that happened in the case of Mumbai girl Kriti Shetty who has been quite popular on the ad circuit till then. “Uppena” changed the fate of this young beauty, but back-to-back flops ensured that she would be out of work in no time. And here’s her second luck. 

With a slew of disasters like Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali, The Warrior, Custody and Macherla Niyojakavargam hitting hard, Kriti Shetty is currently not that hot favourite of Tollywood like she used to be. Currently, she has no Telugu project in her hands other than Sharwanand’s ‘Maname’, directed by Sriram Aditya. While she has one Malayali film and another Tamil one in hand, they are not making the buzz. Then comes “LIC”, which might change her fortunes. 

Featuring Pradeep Ranganathan of “Love Today” fame in the lead, talented filmmaker and Nayanthara’s husband Vignesh Shivan is directing a new film titled “Love Insurance Corporation” aka “LIC” and Kriti Shetty is the leading lady of this movie. As Love Today created waves in both Telugu and Tamil, surely this film will get huge attention in Tollywood as well. Hope the film gives the much needed second break to the actress.
