Currently ‘Hi Nanna’ is doing good at the box offce after having a slow start at the box office on Thursday and then moving into a blockbuster weekend, then standing tall on the first Monday as well. On this occasion, director Shouryuv of the movie interacted with Gulte.com to share his thoughts.
When Gulte.com’s Lokesh Bandi questioned him if they are not worried about the blockbuster result of “Animal” that released a week prior to Hi Nanna, as that impact could fall on the Nani-Mrunal starrer as well, the director said, “Yes, I’ve got scared with Animal’s run, but there is hope that Hi Nanna will provide alternate entertainment amidst the Animal juggernaut. I’m glad that our assumption turned out to be true, as Nani garu’s emotional performance stunned, excited and entertained everyone”.
At the same time, Shouryuv also clarified why they have to opt for a North-Indian looking, and over-fair kid like Kiara for the daughter’s role, and if he agrees with the comment that Murnal Thakur appeared a bit artificial when it comes to crying in some places. For more of such doubts clarified, do watch the interview right away.
