After building curiosity with character posters, the makers of Adivi Sesh and Shruti Haasan starrer romantic heist thriller unveiled the title- Dacoit through an intriguing poster and a concept teaser.
The teaser shows the reunion of ex-lovers in unforeseen circumstances. Shruti Haasan who was betrayed by her former boyfriend (Sesh) is willing to kill him, whereas the latter also has no hard feelings and is ready to finish her off.
The teaser introduces us to the gritty and intense world of Dacoit. Both Sesh and Shruti looked fierce in the teaser which makes a lasting impression for its unique narrative. The cinematography and background score stand out. Seems like, Sesh and his director picked a novel story, and as the title teaser suggests the story-telling will also be very new.
Dacoit marks the directorial debut of cinematographer Shaneil Deo, while Supriya Yarlagadda and Suniel Narang produce it jointly on Annapurna Studios.
As the makers announced, the movie will go on floors soon. It will be shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi.
