Main Atal Hoon Trailer: One Man Who Fought Many Wars

Directed by Ravi Jadhav, known for his work on Sushmita Sen’s web series ‘Taali’ and acclaimed Marathi films such as ‘Natarang’ and ‘Balgandharva,’ ‘Main Atal Hoon’ holds promise as a biopic that delves into the impactful life of Atal Bihari Vajpayee. What’s fascinating is Pankaj Tripathi taking up the lead role in the film. The makers launched the trailer that gives us glimpses into the world and life of Vajpayee.

The ‘Main Atal Hoon’ trailer opens with Atal Bihari Vajpayee addressing the Kargil war situation and transitions into flashbacks of his younger days as a leader.

The trailer highlights key events, including his criticism of Article 370, the formation of the BJP, and his efforts to overcome obstacles for the country’s betterment. The trailer unfolds his life as a common man, a sportsman, a poet, a revolutionary leader and also a prime minister.

Pankaj Tripathi, known for his stellar performances, appears to have put considerable effort into portraying Atal Bihari Vajpayee. His attempt to capture Vajpayee’s distinctive accent and modulate his voice is earnest and shows improvement from what was seen in the teaser.

The much-anticipated biopic on the late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, titled ‘Main Atal Hoon,’ is set to hit theaters on January 19, 2024.
