Shruti Haasan has undeniably left an indelible mark in the Telugu film industry this year, earning herself the title of the industry’s golden girl. The year commenced with her stellar performances in movies alongside Balakrishna and Chiranjeevi, and it concluded with her notable role “Salaar.”
Every film she appeared in this year has achieved blockbuster status, marking a triumphant hat-trick in her career and establishing this as her best year.
Despite initial assumptions that she might take a back seat with the arrival of newcomers like Sreeleela, Rashmika, Pooja Hegde, and Kriti Shetty, Shruti Haasan proved her staying power with a string of successful releases.
The actress secured prominent roles in films like “Veera Simha Reddy” with Balakrishna, “Waltair Veerayya” with Chiranjeevi, and a guest appearance in “Hi Nanna.” Each of these releases in the year contributed to her tremendous success, solidifying her position as the leading star heroine in Tollywood. Now, with “Salaar,” her success took a spike.
In comparison, other actresses like Rashmika Mandanna and Pooja Hegde, despite their notable projects, couldn’t match Shruti’s success in Telugu cinema this year. Shruti Haasan’s four blockbuster hits in 2023 have positioned her as the unrivaled top actress in Tollywood, and her role in “Salaar” has received additional acclaim, earning praise from Prabhas’ fans for her remarkable contributions.
The road ahead for her is filled with “Salaar Part 1,” and “Dacoit.” She is reportedly in talks for a couple of other films too.
