After delivering a global blockbuster like RRR along with SS Rajamouli, the super talented Young Tiger NTR Jr has picked up Koratala Siva’s film which is titled ‘Devara’. Recently in an interview with Gulte.com, Nandamuri Kalyan Ram stated that his Devara is bigger than Game Of Thrones, and it looks like, the statement is no exaggeration.
With an international range of visuals, a color palette that we often see only in Hollywood films, and all the action happening on the sea and under the water, ‘Devara’ glimpse is absolutely stunning. The terrific screen presence of NTR, his looks, and the powerful emotion he carries are so riveting that we feel like watching ‘The 300’ movie’s fight sequences when he is slitting the enemies on the beach, with blood flying high in ultra-realistic hyper slow motion style.
Guess what, the choice of Anirudh seems to be a perfect one, as the top composer delivered kickass sound design and an English song as a background score. The song that goes by the hook like “All Hail The Tiger”, truly summarises the power of NTR as an actor, performer and show stealer. Towards the end of the glimpse, NTR stares at the blood-filled waves of the ocean that are hitting the shores high and says a dialogue about why these seas are called ‘Erra Samudrum’ – a dope-inducing line indeed.
As the glimpse is set for a release at 4:05 PM today (Jan 8th), one wonders if this is the true cinematic brilliance of Koratala Siva, as the director surpassed all expectations by miles. Get ready to hail Devara!
