The Guntur Kaaram trailer is out, and the fans are happy with the way Mahesh Babu was showcased. The action lovers are eagerly waiting for the full movie in theatres. Meanwhile, those who expect romantic elements are disappointed with how the makers did not hint at the quotient of romance in the film. Adding to this disappointment is the heroines not given proper attention, leaving the fans confused.
Sreeleela is the main heroine of the film and she has given enough space in the trailer but unlike her recent films, she is more projected as a glamour treat for the audiences. The fans expect a ‘Sreeleela special’, which may be witnessed only in theatres. However, her role lacks clarity, especially her equation with Mahesh Babu.
Simultaneously, the makers showcased Meenakshi in just one frame with a small dialogue, contrary to the expectations of her fans. Although she is not the main heroine, there was anticipation that Trivikram Srinivas would give her a significant role.
Interestingly, Meenakshi’s role was initially assigned to Srileela, and the original heroine was Pooja Hegde. However, casting changes led to unexpected alterations in the lineup.
In the end, it is the first time in recent times that Mahesh is romancing two budding heroines who are way smaller in age. But Trivikram’s charm may work in theatres and also satisfy family audiences.
We have to wait until 12th January, to come to a conclusion.
