Superstar Mahesh Babu starrer Guntur Kaaram is a highly-awaited film for this Sankranthi. The movie unit is confident about the output. Meanwhile, the censor formalities have also been completed. With no last-minute tensions and worries, the team is meeting the fans this evening at a grand pre-release event in Guntur. Though this is a pre-release event, the fans can expect clarity for many unanswered questions.
Ever since the project was launched, it was always surrounded by the rumours. Be it a change in action choreography, scraping a schedule, a change in the release date, or other criticism against the crew, especially Thaman, the team underwent many ups and downs while making the film. However, the team is standing in front of the fans today with a product they are thoroughly sure about.
First and foremost, Superstar Mahesh Babu’s speech would be interesting. Unlike his other films, he underwent a huge transformation for this one. He is looking in a mass character for the first time in his career, that too under the direction of Trivikram with who he delivered cult classics like Athadu and Khaleja. Hence, Mahesh might break his silence on this transformation. Surprisingly, he, who follows a ‘no-smoking’ policy in his personal life, has opted for smoking beedi in the film, which is also a drift from his policy of not entertaining such acts in his previous films. Also, a viral catchy cuss word reference has been used for a song which is usually not expected from a Mahesh Babu’s film. Despite all that, the rumors that he was unhappy with the entire team, including the director and music director, might also be addressed indirectly. Mahesh’s speech could potentially shut all the mouths.
Next comes the speech of Trivikram Srinivas, who is facing criticism that he has penned a storyline loosely inspired by yet another Yaddanapudi novel, Keerthi Kireetalu. The director might give a clarity on the same. Also, many movie buffs feel that Trivikram’s mark is missing from the trailer and what one generally would expect from Trivikram is completely unaddressed. Trivikram might clarify the same while also explaining the thought process that went into making the film.
