Former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen’s daughter Renee Sen is all set for her acting debut. 21-year-old Renee is testing her luck as actress in Suttabaazi. Renee is going to be seen as a rebellious daughter where she has a constant conflict with her mother in a conservative family.
The film is expected to have a theme of women empowerment. Komal Chhabria, of Padmaavat, Shakuntala Devi fame, plays Renee’s mom while Rahul Vohra will be seen as her father. The film’s shoot began yesterday. The film is also aiming for a digital release.
Not many are aware that Renee is Sushmita’s adopted daughter. Sushmita, who is unmarried, has adopted baby girl Renee in 2000 and second girl Alisah in 2010.
Sushmita is dating fashion model Rohman Shawl whom she met through Instagram. The couple is quite active on social media. Recently, Sushmita made her digital debut in Arya, a thriller web series. Sushmita has got good applause for her role.
