Sandeep Vanga Takes a Dig At Kiran Rao

Sandeep Reddy Vanga, celebrated for the recent blockbuster “Animal” starring Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika, has faced acclaim and backlash. The movie has raked in over Rs.900 crores at the box office and is currently available for streaming on Netflix. However, the film was subjected to a lot of criticism, and it was also perceived for its misogynistic undertones.

In a recent interview, Aamir Khan’s ex-wife Kiran Rao criticized Animal, which did not go well with Sandeep. Kiran Rao drew parallels between Animal, Baahubali-2, and Kabir Singh, accusing them of fostering hatred and harassment against women.

When questioned about the allegations made by Kiran Rao, Sandeep delivered a retort in his style. Sandeep Vanga suggested that she revisit Aamir Khan’s movie “Dil,” highlighting a scene where Aamir’s character creates a situation on attempted rape, only to manipulate the narrative into a love story later.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga expressed bewilderment at the criticism, questioning how they could be attacked without considering the nuances of similar scenes in other movies.

From the release day, team Animal did not spare anyone who criticised their film. They gave strong reactions to one and all.
