On the eve of Valentine’s Day other day, various films were re-released in theatres across the Telugu states. Of them, the most striking movie that received maximum attention from movie lovers is none other than hero Siddharth’s “Oye” which was directed by Anand Ranga. While the film happened to be a flop at the time of its release, many are wondering how it clicked big time now.
Well, with the director Anand Ranga revealing many interesting details about the film, many film enthusiasts are busy derivating that the youths and Gen Z have understood all of those details pretty earlier, and hence they are patronising the film. But the real truth is that Oye is popular in pubs and hotels because of its songs, as many live-performance bands and orchestras sing at least a couple of songs from “Oye” on any given day. Due to the popularity of songs like Oye Oye, Sehari and Saradaga Chandamama, youths have now rushed to theatres to catch up on the movies that actually featured them.
On the other hand, videos of many girls and boys dancing madly in Oye theatres are going viral now on social media.
